Are you guys ready to witness the once-in-a-decade Great North American Solar Eclipse?! Well you're in luck! On Monday, 8th of April, those who want to participate will leave school at 1:00PM to watch the eclipse :D Make sure you bring phones and/or cameras to get some good pictures of the view! (Solar eclipse filters for cameras are recommended to safely get photos, it could be self-made using tutorials online)
NOTE:
It is important that you do NOT look directly at the eclipse without eclipse glasses, including through the lens of a camera, as it can cause permanent eye injuries. This is why the school will be providing viewers with these glasses. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE should anyone remove their glasses and stare at the eclipse at any point.
Any student who wishes to remain in school may do so but must stay until after the other students are back from the eclipse. No one will be allowed to leave the premises at any time, not even to buy a snack.
Also, students who want to wear the color red or green are encouraged to do so, as those are the only colors that can be seen in the darkness of the eclipse. Have fun!
